Delivery ChargesWe use both Royal Mail and Business Post to deliver goods to our customers. You may choose which ever option best suits you. However, please note that there are certain restrictions that apply. Royal Mail Recorded Delivery service is the most competitive for small packages (up to 1kg) but it takes longer (3 to 5 days) and there are restrictions – see below. By using Royal Mail Recorded Delivery service you agree and accept these restrictions. Royal Mail Special Delivery provides extra protection for loss or damage but there are maximum weight restrictions and for some parts of the UK the delivery times are much longer than the standard Next Day service. Please use this link to Royal Mail to see if your address falls within this extended delivery service area. For larger parcels our courier, Business Post provides better pricing and more options on delivery times. Business Post divides the UK and Southern Ireland into various zones for charging purposes. Please see the map below from Business Post to ascertain which zones applies to you. If you are not sure, please phone us on 01923 806806 and we will assist. However, our experience suggests that couriers in general are not as efficient as Royal Mail in delivering to homes. For delivery to Europe (EU) and Ireland we use Royal Mail AirSure service but there is a weight restriction of 2kg and the delivery time is between 3 to 5 days. If your order is greater than 2kg then please contact us on +44 1923 806806 and we will suggest alternatives. Please note: (1) that all delivery dates and times are ESTIMATES only and Netcom cannot guarantee Royal Mail or courier performance. (2) that if Royal Mail or a courier has attempted delivery and you were not in to receive the parcel. Then any costs incurred by Netcom in redelivery or attempted redelivery or if the goods are subsequently returned to Netcom as you have not collected the goods will be chargeable to you.

![]() Business Post Zones Recorded Delivery RestrictionsRecorded Delivery service from Royal Mail is delivered together with standard first class mail. However, a signature is required upon delivery and the whereabouts of recorded delivery item can be tracked to a certain extent via the Royal Mail website. Royal Mail aim to deliver Recorded Delivery items within two working days, but it can take up to five working days and as such this is not a Guaranteed Service. Most importantly customers should understand that compensation for lost or damaged items is very restricted from Royal Mail. In fact only a maximum of £28.00 is available per shipment and the customer will be solely responsible for making any claims against Royal Mail. Netcom will not be responsible for any "Royal Mail Recorded Delivery" shipment that has been damaged, delayed or lost. We strongly recommend that you select the Royal Mail Next Day Special Delivery option where better protection is available. |
